Do you need to Plan a Winter Birthday Party? In our house my kids where both Winter babies, which means that right after christmas I go into Birthday Planning mode. My son's birthday is a few days after New Years and my Daughters is just after Valentine's Day. My son LOVES Pretzels. So, we thought we could try a recipe that I found and see how it tasted. I was amazed at how good, fun and easy it was to make them at home.  You can make any kind of shapes, letters, snakes, little people and yes the original pretzel shape. Try making pretzels like bread sticks - they are easy to dip. We added salt to some and not others, we added Cinnamon and they where great.
