The Aspholm Family Needs Your Help! Logan and Scarlet Aspholm, ages 3 and 2, have been diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder, called Metachromatic Leukodystrophy (MLD). MLD causes loss of communication between the brain and the nerves, causing loss of abilities and eventually death. Life expectancy is approximately 9 years. Currently there is no known cure for MLD.
