My family spent some time in Banff and Red Deer and found some great new spots.
We stayed in Banff to visit with my best friend and her two children and we checked into the Douglas Fir Resort. We used the coupon in the back of the book and got breakfast in the fridge for FREE.
My kids could not make up their minds on where to spend most of the time. It surely was not in the hotel room.
The Gigantic 3 story (yes THREE) playground which says is restricted to 12 and under, so don’t tell anyone that I tried out the slide and the 3 story tree – which is so cool. The 2 waterslides, 2 hot tubs, pools and saunas were just as good as the playground.
Did I mention the view of Rundle Ridge, where I got to tell my children that in my younger years this was the first mountain I ever climbed to the top of the first ridge.
And yes they cried when we checked out of the hotel saying “just 2 more days in the New Home, Please”
