CrossIron Mills

There hasn’t been a new covered-mall opening in a long time and this one is huge. With 17 anchor tenants and 200 other stores I am sure you will be able to find some GREEN back to school supplies and some Great Savings on clothes as well. So be sure to check them out as Sharon, my brilliance coordinator did VERY EARLY, tell us Sharon what are your thoughts on the mall?

“‘Impressive’.  That was what came to mind.  As well as, ‘busy’…but not necessarily in that order.  I attended the Grand Opening of CrossIron Mills, the traffic, customer volume and mayhem of today shouldn’t be a deterring factor in the coming weeks; Police and parking attendants were en masse to accommodate the expected 70,000 visitors.  Coming down the highway for the 10 am opening of the mall allowed me to avoid the later-on line-up on the Deerfoot…so, remember to go early.  There are plenty of kids’ stores, including a Toys’R'Us, as well, many of the major brand name stores contain kids’ sections.  There are some great play-areas for the younger kids, as well as, cute and functional ladybug carts available at customer service to wheel your kids around.  The interior design / decorating is fresh, appealing and easy to navigate.  Although I didn’t go all the way into the store itself, the Bass Pro Shop had a really neat ambiance, like I was walking into a forest…plus, it has everything you can imagine to do with your family in the outdoors…things you never knew existed.  I’ll go back again, but in a couple of weeks so that I can take it all in…crowds aside.”
