Come join us this Saturday, September 19th from 1-4 pm at Centre Stage in West Edmonton Mall.
As I type this I have just received a heartfelt, relieved phone call from Rebecca Stafford Nichols that her brother Rodney Stafford has just officially arrived in Sherwood Park - SAFELY.
Do you remember Tori Stafford who was abducted from her school in April 8th in Woodstock, Ontario.
Rodney, Tori's father, has ridden to Edmonton because this is where Tori had her last holiday with her Nana to visit her Aunt Rebecca just last June in 2008. He wants to see where her last holiday was spent and see what she experienced. The family will then head to Jasper together on Sunday to go to the top of a mountain to release a single purple balloon in her honour.
On August 5, Rodney started riding his peddle bike with the goal of reaching Edmonton all the way from Ontario, some 3374 km. Something I don't think I could do. And he wasn't an athlete, he was a smoker, not any more, but he just needed to have her short life have some meaning.
After his daughter was found he felt he needed to raise awareness to Child Abductions so that what happened to his daughter Tori never has to happen to another family.
Sadly, it might, if no one does anything about it.
So come on Saturday so you can get your Children Fingerprinted for FREE from my charity of Choice Child Find Alberta.
We have 16 amazing, award winning singers from Premier Entertainment whom I got to see earlier this year at the Winspear Center backed by David Fosters band. Talent that will leave you awestruck.
Please come show your support to a family that needs to know people care and we are ALL concerned about our children's safety.
We will be hosting a fundraiser, a 50/50 raffle, and have over 250 gently used purses that have been donated that you can buy from $5 - $15. Tori had a deep passion for Purple and Purses.
Help us raise funds for Child Find Alberta and enjoy the day. If you have purple, that was Tori's favorite color please feel free to wear it.

I will be there giving away some of the last copies of The 'Little Black Book' for busy familesTM that we have for your donation to Child Find Alberta.

Thanks so Much from this Mother of two who hugs her children even tighter and loves to hear them giggle.
