My Christmas Wish For YOU!
A Blessing in Disguise
This past weekend I bundled up my kids and husband in the -30 degree cold and we went down to the Bissell Centre to help at their Children’s Christmas party. There were over 50 families all with children in tow, enjoying hot warm meals that were sponsored by Spartan. My children helped hand out oranges alongside the kids from Spartan and it was truly heartwarming to watch. They sat quietly nearby while I helped pass out gifts, books and zipped-up coats for all the families lined up to see Santa. They watched gifts and candy canes handed out to all the children and did not once make a request or fuss to sit on Santa’s lap. At the end they did spend some special time with Santa and my son said “Thank you for coming to see these children, you know they don’t have much” It had me filled with pride, goose bumps and amazement that at almost 4 years he truly understood why we were there.
So I just wanted to share with you my feelings on the greatest gift I have received this year is the abundance in my life which includes each and every one of YOU. You have freely sent me comments and inspiration to keep me going and I cherish each and every person I have personally met or heard from this past year and I have one heartfelt wish for you. It is my wish that you are truly blessed over the holidays and through out the New Year. I would like to share this 2 minute video with you to show my appreciation and my wish for you.
