So I thought I would help remind you.
We know though that YOU probably have lots more going on than an Elephant.
Perhaps that’s why you might have forgotten that Tuesday, September 22 is Elephant Never Forgets Appreciation Day!!!

The Index – located at the back of the book

So ONLY Paid advertising will be Bolded when listed in the index.
This will make your business-listing stand out.
The index is what they call a “Starting Point” in the publishing industry. Anywhere the reader goes to FIRST to find, start or look for information. An example of this is the back cover. It is viewed as much as the front cover and always gets more exposure and yes it costs more, but if you get more views you’ll be more top of mind and receive more business.
So we are placing 1/3 page display ads on these pages and we only have six left.
And remember… these ads will be viewed more because of there placement

Business Listings
We have four different Business listings options available and have added a few new things that will stand out.
Premier Business Listing will include all your contact information, your website address and email, 100-word description in the publication. On our website you will receive a full page listing which includes everything as in the publication and up to 350 word description, your company logo, up to four photos, links to your site and you can update seasonal information 4 times a year, a Google map to show directions to your location.
NEW THIS YEAR in the publication
will be a photo of your store, products or services
– full color.
All of this for just $57/ a month or $684/yr
New is the Expert Business Listing will include all your contact information, your website address and email, 75-word description in the publication and on our website, your Expert Business Listing content will link to your site and add one photo as well as a Google map to show directions to your location. And you are placed in alphabetical order, with first placement in each category so readers will see your listing first.
All of this for just $47/month or $564/yr
Established Business Listing will include all your contact information, your website address and up to a 30-word description about your business or services.
All of this for just $37/month or $444/yr
Introductory Business Listing is a basic listing of your company name and address so they can find you.
All of this for just $27/month or $324/yr
Free Business Listing includes company name and phone number ONLY.
I don’t know of any other printed directory that even offers Free listings, but we do. We feel it is a valuable addition even to our paid advertisers so the readers feel they get more value out of the publication. These are placed at the end of every category, There is no guarantee to be included; first submitted, first included depending on space availability.
Passport to Alberta Pages
In the back we are currently have a few pages for Family Adventures to Plan, My Sanity Notes, Favorite Places and Phone numbers and we are adding Passport to Alberta Pages.
Leslie Primeau from 630 Ched is the brainchild of this idea and it fits perfect in driving more business into your stores. Readers can bring in the book for advertisers to place a stamp in and the one with the most stamps will win a prize.
It also fits perfect with our 2010 Summer Photo Contest. And these makes two reasons to come see your business.

Well your right, most photo contests are pretty boring. But not this one…
