According to Wikipedia, the modern' Mother's Day holiday was created by Anna Jarvis as a day for each family to honor their mother. Officially created and recognized in 1914 this was the 95Th ANNIVERSARY of mother's day!

Sorry it's blurry, that is what happens when the horses go so fast!!
And Thanks to Jeniffer Cockton who had extra tickets we got to Ride Thomas the train. What else could a Mom ask for, Thomas, sun and so much laughter. It was truly the best day ever!
Did you see the Flowers and candy I received? Check out the photo at the top. But the best was the Box of Love from my son who painted it at preschool. Thanks Miss Jill.
